Engines and Power Products Division has announced the hiring of Joe Butt to the position of district manager in the company’s sales organization. Butt will be based in Cincinnati and have responsibility for a territory that includes Southern Ohio, Southern Indiana, Southern Illinois, Kentucky, West Virginia and western counties of Virginia.

Garland Allison Newest District Manager At Kawasaki
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Sept. 13, 2011)—Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. Engine and Power Products Division has named Garland (Gar) Allison to the position of district manager.
Allison, who has been with Kawasaki for more than a year, recently held the title of OEM sales coordinator, working in the division’s Grand Rapids headquarters. He will assume the primary dealer contact role in an area that includes Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and three counties in Illinois.

Kawasaki’s New “Critical Power” Engine Ratings Clarify Horsepower Output For Consumers
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Aug. 25, 2011)---Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. Engine and Power Products Division will begin rating its engines next month in accordance with SAE J2723. This marks a broad departure for the industry and Kawasaki officials believe this Critical Power rating will alleviate end user confusion over horsepower labeling and “usable” power.

The Engines and Power Products Division, based here, announced a 50 percent increase in the length of its warranty coverage for all of its engine categories, effective with unit sales beginning Nov. 1, 2010.
